Well, Massapequa, we sure thought we dodged a bullet, eh? This Summer thus far had seemed to be a mild one, and many residents were hoping that the trend would continue.

No such luck.

Yes, the full, unbridaled fury of the Summertime heat seemed to finally have made it's way to the Massapequas this week, but suprisingly, many residents aren't locking themselves away in their air-conditioned homes to escape it. Instead, many locals seems to be just as active in the great outdoors as ever.
