Three acres of land at the defunct Carman Road School may be transformed into parkland in a proposed deal between Massapequa School District and the Town of Oyster Bay.

According to a letter from school officials, the deal would transfer about three acres of unused land at Carman Road School to the Town of Oyster Bay. In return, the Town would renovate the athletic fields of Berner Middle School. Read more here.
