President's Day: Open/Closed

Monday is President's Day it is a holiday celebrating the Birthday of our nation's first prsident, George Washington.

Here's a look at what's open and closed today.

Federal Government: President's day is a Federal holiday and most offices will be closed. There will be no Postal Service Delivery Monday.

State Governemnt: Most state offices will also be closed including the State Department of Motor Vehicles office in Massapequa.

TOBAY:  Both Town Halls will be closed, but there will be normal Sanitation and S.O.R.T. recycling collection. Town Ice rinks will have extended hours on Presidents Day and for the remainder of the week. They will close for the season on Sunday.

Schools: Massapequa Public Schools will be closed this week.

Village: Village Hall in Massapequa Park is close.
