Still enraptured within the glorious Eastertide, the miracles persist with the forthcoming Ascension of the Lord on the 26th of this month and the ground-shaking arrival of the enlightening Holy Spirit on Pentecost in June.
Spellbound by joyful anticipation, we rise hopeful each day. In each moment we aspire to rise to new heights, seek extraordinary meaning and purpose, and look wistfully for prolific abundance and insight for our battered aching world.

What makes humans different? More, more, more.
While this may not necessarily parade as a typical red flag overflowing with negative attributes, the undercurrent driving it may warrant scrutiny.
If what we seek overrides or conflicts with what the Lord has intended, and disturbs and over-throws Divinely crafted plans, severe repercussions could persevere individually and collectively.
Jesus rose above earthly mundanities and regulations; rose above the pettiness and wickedness of the human condition.
He rose above the turbulent roaring sea to guide and encourage his Disciples.
He rebuked demons to rise from the possessed bodies of ensnared children and adults.
Jesus also commanded those who were lame, sick, disabled, or paralyzed to rise from their stretchers, mats, or the bare ground.
He even called for the dead to rise with Jairus’ twelve-year-old daughter and Lazarus.
Rising was an integral part of His day for Himself and those who faithfully sought Him.
