Seinfeld Visits Israel, Meets Families Of Hostages

The Massapequa native was also reportedly hoping to meet IDF soldiers.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Jerry Seinfeld is showing his support for Israel. The legendary comedian from Massapequa met with families of hostages, who were taken by Hamas and hostages who were released from captivity.

An Instagram post to the "Bring Them Home Now" page showed Seinfeld in Tel Aviv.

Seinfeld told families that he "feels a deep commitment to raising awareness around the world about the issue of the hostages, whose lives are in immediate danger," the Instagram page said.

His meeting with family members lasted two hours longer than anticipated, the Times of Israel reported.

Seinfeld is planning to visit the southern border and might shake hands with some Israeli soldiers, the Times of Israel said.
