Students at Grace Day School in Massapequa raised over $400 to help patients with leukemia & lymphoma.

Students at Grace Day School in Massapequa raised over $400 to help patients with leukemia & lymphoma. Under the direction of teacher, Mr. Joe Barbato, they participated in a program called “Pennies for Patients”. They joined students across the country by collecting pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters over a three-week period. Their goal was to reach $300.00. They were very happy and surprised to learn that they had passed their goal amount by more than 25%. Congratulations on a great job, students!
