The emails persist, despite blocking,

Initially a nuisance, now they become an irritant, both seeking votes in future elections in moments of life not promised or guaranteed.

Meanwhile, a family once robust and bustling with new arrivals, (both matrimonial and births) suddenly without warning shrinks,

Not with the expected decline of age, but with the loss of an always dependable robust and reliable member.

The lesson becomes apparent.

Time waits for no one.

The extended clan once naively took more life for granted. Believing it permitted progress allowing time to harbor secret grudges, unsaid complaints or grievances.

Now the moment has passed.

Life will no longer wait for the coveted apology or tearful reunion

Rather it has chosen to move steadily neither seeking acknowledgment, praise or denial.

The trio of sisters once intact, is now a duet, both mourning and regretting unsaid words of love.

As history moves forward and claims another of the shrinking clan, the lesson is even more apparent.

Let there be peace not only on earth but with each other.

Anger spreads with the agility of a virus, and there are no vaccines to prevent it,

However, there is an antidote, and it is called Love frothed with the foam of acceptance.

The potion is always available and also, renewable.

The only requisite is forgiveness.

Meanwhile two political enemies with little apparent

in common, beyond ambition, persistently pursue potential votes.

As it becomes increasingly apparent both candidates are in denial that their moment in time most likely has ended.
