Town Of Oyster Bay To Host 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Tonight
The ceremony will honor the local residents who died during the terrorist attack in 2001.

MASSAPEQUA, NY – The Town of Oyster Bay will be hosting a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony in honor of the 16th anniversary of the terrorist attack tonight.
The ceremony will take place at TOBAY beach in Massapequa starting at 7 p.m. All residents, families and friends are invited to attend.
“As we prepare to observe a national day of remembrance on September 11th, it is important that we commemorate this day, as the passage of time does not diminish the tragedy that our nation suffered 16 years ago,” Supervisor Joseph Saladino said. “Together, we will pay tribute to those we lost that tragic morning and honor the bravery and heroism demonstrated by first responders.”
