Two Charged With Selling Alcohol to Minors: Police

The two were arrested during an Underage Drinking Initiative in Nassau County over the holiday weekend.

Two women were arrested for selling alcohol to minors in Massapequa over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, according to State Police.

Police conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative in Nassau County during which an undercover, underage operative entered 13 stores to try to purchase alcohol, police said.

There were a total of two sales to the undercover operative.

The first sale was at County Line Farms on 5840 Merrick Road.

The cashier, Jari Rodriguez, of Copiague, sold an alcoholic beverage to the operative and was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Nassau County First District Court on Dec. 15, police said.

The second sale was made at the Best Yet Market on 5601 Merrick Road.

The manager, Nicole Allen of Massapequa, authorized the sale of an alcoholic beverage to the operative and was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Nassau County First District Court on Dec. 13, police said.
