Unemployment in 2012?

The unemployment rate in the Town of Oyster Bay went up slightly to 6 percent last month but the jobless rate is down from a year ago.

But we're still a far cry from where the town was in Nov. 2007 when it was at 3.6 percent.

As we enter an election year in 2012, jobs may be the top issue on voters' minds.
