Weigh in on Parking Sensor Decision

The Village of Massapequa Park is ending the parking sensor program, do you agree with the decision?

The hockey puck sized sensors that were installed on Park Boulevard gave the village data on where vehicles were illegally parked and for how long.

The village did not give out tickets during the experiment  and learned that most cars were parked illegally for just a few minutes.

In an effort to remain friendly to area businesses, the village decided to keep parking in the hands of enforcement officers, rather than allow the machines to play a part.

We want to know if you agree with the decision. Take our poll below and weigh in with your comments.
