Weigh in on Presidents Day: Rate Rushmore

This weekend we celebrate the Presidents Day holiday, which officialy celebrates the birthday of George Washington.

February is also the month when we mark the birth of our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln.

Because the day is commonly called Presidents Day, it's not unusual to reflect on the legacy of all of our nation's Chief Executives this weekend.

We're not going to wax poetic about the Warren Harding administration, but we thought this would be a good time to get your thoughts on the four presidents on Mount Rushmore. They are considered the best of the best.

George Washington held an inexperienced army together during the revolution and built the American presidency setting precedents that last to this day.

Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence and expanded America's reach to the Pacific Ocean during his administration.

Theodore Roosevelt is a native of Oyster Bay, who brought America into the modern era by passing progressive laws and regulations, while helping to bust Trusts that controlled much of American manufacturing. He is also considered one of the fathers of the environmental movement.

Abraham Lincoln held the Union together through the Civil War, while signing the document which ended the horror of slavery in this country.
