Weigh in on the Massapequa Park Budget

The Village of Massapequa Park at their next meeting.

The spending plan calls for a tax levy that's below the  state's new tax cap law. They did so, despite the fact that they voted to opt out of the tax cap in January.

Municipalities can do this if 60 percent of their board agrees to opt out.

At the time the village board opted out Mayor James Altadonna said that Massapequa Park would try to submit a budget that was under the cap.

Now that they've done this,  We'd like to know if you agree with the decision.
