YES Community Counseling Center Hosts Virtual Fundraiser

STEP It Up for YES!!

So much has transpired over the past months. Lives have been forever transformed. Sadly, the theme of loss has transcended our lives in a way that none of us could have ever anticipated. Some have lost jobs, our security and stability, some of us have lost our confidence in our day to day ability to navigate things, we have lost time and our freedoms, we have lost our financial stability, and most importantly, some of us have lost family and friends to this tenacious virus.
As we were distinguished as essential services during this time, our doors never shut. In addition to providing our traditional services to community members, we continued to stock our food pantry and participate in several food distribution events serving thousands of our neighbors. We continued to train our neighbors and make naloxone (narcan) available to those in need and distribute food and school supplies to those requesting help.

But, in spite of our determination and motivation, we have not been able to embark on any fundraising activities which we know will have a profound impact on our ability to continue the scope of all our services. In an effort to use all our resources, we have developed a campaign which we will be rolling out through social media. Not much fluff ... just an open, honest and direct appeal for help. We are calling the campaign....STEP IT UP FOR YES.
We will be asking you to get to your social media pages and help us spread the word about our campaign or perhaps post a brief statement as to why you might be stepping it up for YES. And while our goal is to raise funds for our organization, helping us to spread the word is also invaluable. While we know many families are suffering financially, we also know that some are doing ok....and for those who can donate, we ask that they do...for those who need us, we are here. Our work never stops. YES Community Counseling Center has helped thousands over the years... Now, we need to reach out to you and ask for support.

And so, on behalf of all those that we serve and seek to help in the future, thank you... for your support and friendship!

Warm Regards,
