• Suffolk man faces aggravated vehicular homicide charges after work zone crash that killed worker (news12.com) — A Mastic man, Joel Sicon-Porix, was killed in a Suffolk County work zone crash that prosecutors say was caused by a drug-impaired wrong-way driver, who now faces aggravated vehicular homicide charges. The 26-year-old suspect's bail was set at $7.5 million cash, and he could face up to 25 years in prison, with another court date scheduled in October.
