• Murder In Mastic: Dad Stabbed Dead, Son Busted (southshorepress.com) — Police are investigating a fatal stabbing inside a Mastic Boulevard apartment, where a man died after calling 911 and his son was later arrested on a second-degree murder charge. Suffolk County detectives and Crime Stoppers are asking Mastic residents for any tips, which can be submitted anonymously and may qualify for a reward as the investigation continues.
