Parents of 6 Found Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide in Mastic Beach
Couple found dead Thursday afternoon.

A Mastic Beach man is believed to have shot his wife to death and then turned the gun on himself in an apparent murder-suicide at their home Thursday afternoon, police said.
According to police, Seventh Precinct Patrol officers responded to a 911 call at 203 Woodside Drive, after a child who lives at the address was locked out of the home and asked an adult for help.
The adult saw a man, Wayne Street, 29, lying on the ground inside the home and called 911 at about 4:40 p.m. Officers found Street dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and his wife, Jenni Lee Street, 28, of the same address, also dead from a gunshot wound.
