#89 – Pat's Farms

A local farmers market offers up some fresh produce.

In a town west of all the farm stands the east end of Long Island has to offer, Pat's Farms is an extremely unique find. Lucky for us, our own fresh vegetables and produce can be picked up right on Merrick Road.

The market features a cornucopia of produce from ruby red tomatoes to sweet plump blueberries to giant whole watermelons. The rows of such vibrant colors are really striking; nature’s beauty is really represented at Pat's.

The store also features a fully-stocked deli to make your food shopping that much easier. An assortment of cold cuts, breads and pastas line the wall. Natural and organic options are available. You need it, Pat’s has it.

Another neat feature of the market is their custom-made platters. Fruit baskets, vegetable displays and gifts can be custom-made for any reason or event.

With the warmer months ahead, stop in at the market to enjoy some fresh finds to create a light, summery meal.
