Nassau Police Offer Reward For Info On Deacon's Killer

Police are searching for Andre Patton in connection with the murder of a deacon on Friday, and are offering up to $5,000 for information.

The Nassau County Police Department is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a man they are looking for in connection with a murder on Friday.

According to police, Patrick Logsdon, 70, was murdered outside of a transition home on East Roosevelt Avenue in Roosevelt at 10:22 p.m. Friday night. Police say Logsdon, a deacon who lived at the Anthony House, a transition home run by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, was stabbed multiple times and left outside to die.

Police are searching for Andre Patton, 47, pictured above, in connection with the murder. Police say that he lived at the Anthony House. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be confronted.
