Police: Woman Found Dead in East Meadow Home Was Murdered
Victim was found Tuesday afternoon, cops said.

A woman was found murdered inside an East Meadow home Tuesday afternoon, according to Nassau County Police.
Cops said they received a 911 call at around 4 p.m. about an unconscious woman in a Prospect Avenue home. Responding officers found the 52-year-old victim lying on the floor inside the home, which reportedly sits between York and Aberdeen Streets, police said.
The woman, whose identity is being withheld pending family notification, was pronounced dead at 4:07 p.m. by a Nassau AMT, officials said.

Police have not confirmed how the woman died. A suspect has not been identified to the public as of Wednesday morning.
Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have information about the homicide to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
