According to his obituary, Colon was planning to attend Dutchess Community College in August.
He and Mucci were “like brothers. They were inseparable,” the obituary said.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 17 at St. Joseph’s Church, 15 North Ave. in Millbrook.

Classes at Arlington High School have finished for the summer.
Fanuele said professional staff — psychologists, social workers, school counselors — will be available to provide support to students.
“This loss may raise feelings of sadness, anger, hurt and depression for those who knew Dillon as well as for others experiencing loss or trauma in their lives,” Fanuele said. “Please take a moment to review symptoms for students in crisis, suggestions for assisting students and a brief list of community resources available.”
Further information, including community mental health resources, can be found on the school’s website.
