50 Arrested In Orange County Drug Enforcement Action
A multi-agency effort used search warrants, informants and undercover police officers.

GOSHEN, NY — Fifty men and women were charged Thurdsay with selling and possessing illegal drugs throughout Orange County. District Attorney David M. Hoovler said the defendants were trafficking fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and prescription medications.
The multi-agency action, called “Joint Endeavor,” used search warrants and undercover police officers and informants to buy the drugs.
The effort was designed to help clean up neighborhoods throughout the county by targeting individuals selling narcotics.

In addition, one Port Jervis man was charged with first-degree criminal nuisance for allowing his premises to be used for narcotics trafficking.
A Newburgh man was also charged with second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, and faces up to 17 years in prison for selling more than one-half ounce of cocaine.
