Beacon Man Confesses To Stabbing, Dismembering Brooklyn Woman

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

BEACON, NY — A 34-year-old Beacon resident walked into the 1st Precinct in New York City Aug. 28 around 8:45 p.m. and allegedly confessed to a grisly stabbing and dismemberment that happened in 2014. NYPD officials said Ricky Gonzalez, 34, of Beacon, Dutchess County, said he killed and dismembered Maria Quinones, 58, inside 226 Wilson Ave. in Brooklyn.

Police said, at this time, the woman's body has not been located.

Gonzalez was arrested and charged Aug. 29 with murder and concealment of human corpse.
