Fire On Market Street In Wappingers Falls Displaces 25
Authorities said multiple ground-floor businesses were destroyed.

WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY — A fire Tuesday in the Village of Wappingers Falls displaced residents of a three-story building on Market Street. Everyone escaped from the building's 10 apartments and no one was injured.
Multiple businesses on the ground floor were destroyed in the blaze which started around 1 p.m., the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
One of the businesses — Mario's Sandwich Shop — had just opened in November.
