Fishkill Inmate Charged With Having Weapon In Prison
The charge stems from April; he was arrested in November.

FISHKILL, NY — A Brooklyn man was arrested Nov. 15 for allegedly having a weapon in prison. State Police said Damian Jackson, 22, of Brooklyn, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband, a felony.
Police said an investigation found that on April 13 Jackson had a weapon with a blade while he was an inmate at the Fishkill Correctional Facility.
He was arraigned in the Town of Fishkill Court. His next appearance is scheduled for Jan. 3, 2018.

Jackson remains in the custody of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, which assisted the State Police.
