Crime Report: Mt. Sinai Man Steals from Tire Store
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Thomas James, 25, of Sound Beach, was arrested March 23 in Miller Place and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. James was arrested on Route 25SA in Miller Place, according to police.
Chris McGinty, 37, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested March 24 and charged with burglary. He was arrested on Canal Road in Mt. Sinai after allegedly entering Tire City through a side window and stealing unkown property.
John Ortiz, 47, of Port Jeff Station, was arrested March 27 in Mt. Sinai and charged with DWI-first offense. Ortiz was arrested on Canal Road and Mt. Sinai Avenue while driving a 2003 Toyota Camry, according to police.

David Laurinaitis, 26, of Mastic, was arrested March 28 in Miller Place and charged with DWI-first offense. Police said Laurinaitis was arrested on Route 25A driving a white 2006 Chevy Blazer.
