Police: Port Jefferson Station Man Killed in Crash Into Tree on Northern State
Single-car accident occurred early Wednesday in Dix Hills.

An 81-year-old Port Jefferson Station was killed in a single-car crash on the Northern State Parkway in Dix Hills early Wednesday morning, State Police said.
According to police, Pasquale Iaello was driving a Nissan Altima in the westbound lanes of the parkway, west of Exit 42, shortly before 5 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree on the right shoulder.
Iaello, who was the only person in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
