Romaine Declares State of Emergency, All Vehicles Must Be Parked Off Roads
Snow and ice expected to hit Long Island Sunday night and Monday.

Supervisor Ed Romaine has issued a State of Emergency in the Town of Brookhaven, effective 12:01 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.
He also signed an Executive Order that calls for all vehicles to be parked on private property and off Town roads after 12:01 a.m.
Vehicles that are parked in the street must be moved to driveways or be subject to towing at the owner’s expense, town officials said. Any abandoned vehicles obstructing access for snow plows and emergency vehicles may also be removed by the Town, officials said.
