The office of Immigration &amp; Refugee Services is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice to counsel, process, file, and represent clients before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and EOIR Immigration Court. Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. A man was arrested in Mineola Wednesday afternoon for a burglary committed in Garden City in October, authorities said. Nassau Police say that while investigating a burglary at a property on 7th Street in Garden City, they discovered a latent fingerprint on items moved at the time of the crime. Police determined that the fingerprint belonged to Francisco J. Palacios, 26, of West Hempstead.Detectives located and arrested Palacios on Wednesday at 12 p.m. in Mineola without incident, police said.Palacios is charged with third-degree burglary. A man was arrested in Mineola Wednesday afternoon for a burglary committed in Garden City in October, authorities said.

Nassau Police say that while investigating a burglary at a property on 7th Street in Garden City, they discovered a latent fingerprint on items moved at the time of the crime. Police determined that the fingerprint belonged to Francisco J. Palacios, 26, of West Hempstead.Detectives located and arrested Palacios on Wednesday at 12 p.m. in Mineola without incident, police said.

Police say they found the man's fingerprint during an investigation in Garden City in October, and arrested him Wednesday.
