
A Franklin Square bank was robbed at gunpoint Monday morning, according to Nassau County Police.
At 9:10 a.m., a masked man with a gun approached a teller at Citibank on Franklin Avenue and verbally demanded money, cops said. The teller cooperated and handed an unknown amount of cash to the man, who fled out a rear door toward the Franklin Gates shopping center, police said.

Five employees and five customers were inside the bank at the time, cops said. No one was reportedly injured.

The man was between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10 and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, gloves, and a dark colored mask, police said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
