Glen Cove Man Indicted for Exposing Himself to Children in Supermarket

The supermarket employee also forced a 5-year-old girl to touch him, police said.

A Glen Cove man was indicted for exposing himself to three children at a Glen Cove supermarket on more than one occasion, Acting Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas announced Thursday.

Edward Ramirez, 43, was arrested in December after police said he exposed himself to two young sisters and forced one of them to touch him while the girls’ mother was in an adjacent aisle at the store on Nov. 24, 2014.

According to police, Ramirez exposed himself to a 7-year-old girl while looking directly at her. When the girl ran to the adjacent aisle to tell her mother what happened, Ramirez then exposed himself to the girl’s 5-year-old sister and forced her to touch him, police said.
