Meltzer Lippe Gives Back During Holiday Season
Donates to FCA's Adopt a Family and Long Island Cares
While enthusiastic community give-back is a year-round activity for the attorneys and staff at Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, the December holidays are a special time for the law firm, with an outpouring of generosity that benefits families and individuals across Long Island.
“Giving back to our neighbors as a group engenders a feeling of camaraderie, shared good will and gratitude unlike any other activity,” said Managing Partner David Heymann. “We have a lot to be grateful for, and even more to give. We are endlessly proud of our team and their ongoing commitment to giving back.”
Each year, Meltzer Lippe has the privilege of being able to adopt an area family through the Family & Children's Association (FCA), fulfilling holiday wish lists and necessities identified by FCA. Some of the gifts requested included infant toys, puzzles, winter coats, winter boots, home essentials and gift cards.

In addition to making the holidays bright with gifts and other necessities, Meltzer Lippe shopped for and donated more than 8,000 pounds of food to Long Island Cares Inc. during the hunger relief agency’s Annual Food Drive. The firm added an incentive to drive donations, proposing a “donation challenge,” in which the floor that donated the most received a trophy and bragging rights. “We’re a competitive bunch, and this got everyone on board and made it even more fun, and even more productive,” added David Heymann.
