• Mineola Marching Band to defend state title after record-breaking NYS Championship (longislandpress.com) — Mineola's Mustangs Marching Band is gearing up to defend its New York State Field Band Conference title after a record-setting 2025 season, and residents can catch them competing starting Sept. 20 at Brentwood High School. Following an intensive summer camp, the band will also perform for Long Island Ducks fans on Sept. 11 and aim for another championship run in Syracuse on Nov. 1.
