Town of North Hempstead Increases Transparency
Residents can now track every dollar of the Town budget online and see where their money is really going.
The Town of North Hempstead announced Monday it has launched a program that will increase transparency in government and make all information on budget, finances and expenditures open to the public.
Government transparency is a “top priority” for the Town of North Hempstead administration and it is the only Town on Long Island that will have this program available
“Since day one of this administration we have worked tirelessly to increase transparency in Town government,” Bosworth said. “This new software will allow our taxpayers to track every dollar of the Town budget and actually see where their money is going.”
