Woman Employed by Mineola Physician Forged Prescriptions: Police

The Westbury resident was arrested Thursday, police say.

A woman employed by a Mineola physician was arrested Thursday for forging prescriptions for Percocet pills over the course of four months, police say.

According to authorities, Rosa Bonilla, 35, of Westbury, forged 10 prescriptions for 90 Percocet pills, a total of 900 pills, from December to March.

An investigation by narcotics/vice bureau detectives led to Bonilla’s arrest at her residence at 3:34 p.m. without incident.

She was charged with ten counts of second-degree forgery and will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
