Bronx Dealer Nabbed With Potentially Deadly Drug Stash: Police

75 grams of crack-cocaine, 15 grams of MDMA, 11 grams of fentanyl, and 1 gram of alprazolam were seized by police in Mount Vernon.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — A traffic stop in Westchester County uncovered a dangerous cache of drugs and led to a felony drug trafficking arrest.

New York State Police say that on Oct. 2, the Community Stabilization Unit and the Mount Vernon Police Department arrested a Bronx man dealing drugs in the City of Mount Vernon.

Around 10:30 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2009 Acura RL for several traffic violations on First Street in Mount Vernon.

An investigation found that the driver, 46-year-old Thomas Davis, of the Bronx, was in illegal possession of an estimated 75 grams of crack-cocaine, 15 grams of MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine), 11 grams of fentanyl, and 1 gram of alprazolam.

Davis was arrested for two counts of felony third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of felony third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felony fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and two counts of misdemeanor seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
