Why are you seeking elective office?
I want to work to make Yonkers a better place. After seeing how in the past four years the City Council President has done nothing but be obstructionist and turn the City Council into little more than a pageant, I want to work with all parties to make Yonkers a better place for all and a city that people can be happy to call home to work and live in.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Public safety. As a member of the Yonkers Police Reform Committee, I am committed to working alongside the current administration and with the Yonkers Police Department to ensure that our communities are safe for all residents.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I want to continue on the successes and progress already made to make Yonkers a better city for all, while my opponent wishes to continue the stonewall tactics of obstructing the administration and refuse to work with all parties on the City Council.
