Domino Sugar Refinery Shows Yonkers Pride With New LED Welcome Sign
Domino has a more than 120-year history of manufacturing sugar and helping to put Yonkers on the map.

YONKERS, NY — Yonkers has a brand new "welcome" sign, thanks to one of the city's best known businesses.
The Domino Sugar Yonkers refinery, owned by American Sugar Refining, Inc., unveiled a new LED welcome sign in Yonkers Monday night. The sign, measuring 4 feet by 30 feet, combines the newly refreshed Domino Sugar logo with the city’s name in lettering that pays homage to the iconic sign on the Yonkers Recreation Pier downtown.
The YONKERS letters are illuminated with color-changing LEDs that can be adjusted seasonally.
