Shots Fired Report Leads Police To Teen Suicide Victim
A preliminary investigation led Mount Vernon police to conclude that the gunshot that killed the 19-year-old was self-inflicted.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — Reports of gunfire led to a heart-rending discovery.
The Mount Vernon Police Department said Friday morning that they responded to a report of shots fired on Fulton Lane. Once on the scene, officers found a 19-year-old dead, with a single gunshot wound.
A preliminary investigation concluded that the man took his own life.
