
The snowstorm that crippled much of the East Coast will be gone (and good riddance).
The good news is that on Sunday temperatures will be in the mid 30s and skies will be mostly sunny.
The bad news is that everyone has to clean up. And there’s quite a bit to clean up. According to the National Weather Service, Stony Point had 8.5 inches dumped on it by 1 p.m. and New City had 9 inches by 2:30 p.m.

Clarkstown Police asked residents to stay off the roads.
“Please check in on your friends and neighbors and don’t hesitate to call us if you’re concerned about someone,” they posted on Facebook.
(Too bad the football playoffs weren’t on Saturday, it would have been a perfect day for it with many of us snowed in.)
As of 11AM, the National Weather Service is predicting accumulation of 12-20 inches locally.
