60 Evacuated Because of Fire in New Rochelle

More than 60 people in a four-story building were evacuated overnight in New Rochelle when a fire broke out in a third-floor apartment.
Crews were still on the scene Wednesday morning at 77 Centre Ave., according to a report on hudsonvalley.news12.com.
Firefighters contained the blaze to one apartment, but five people were sent to the hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.
