ALL it Takes Is One Person to Make A Difference

Did you know that the FARE Walk for Food Allergy in Westchester, NY was started by an eight-year-old girl? Samantha Hirschberg approached her parents four years ago with the idea to start a walk in her community, and now she and her family co-chair the event that is taking place this weekend! This year Samantha and her team have raised an incredible $20,000 to educate her community and help find a cure for food allergies – thank you, Samantha! This year Westchester FARE has surpassed it's fundraising goal of $230,000 and has over 100 teams registered to walk.  What an amazing story that shows how one child and her family has made such an impressive impact on their community. A true inspiration right in our own backyard.
