Adopt Envy and Your Search for a Cuddle Buddy Ends

Envy is a sweet, shy but a loving little girl, available for adoption at the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter. She was probably a dog used for breeding and then surrendered by her family when they no longer needed her.

Some dogs she likes and some she feels she needs to correct their behavior (so like a mom!). Envy is always happy to see you and her wagging tail and wiggly body prove that. 

She is an adult female, Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier Mix, with a beautiful medium brown coloring and stunning eyes.  She has excellent manners and does well with treat training. 

Envy yearns for love and affection, you will never feel lonely or deprived of attention with this girl.  She is a favorite among the volunteers and looks forward to her long walks and one on one time with her volunteer friends.

Although she has excellent manners, Envy can benefit from additional training with the advice of our professional trainers.  Envy has been at the shelter for awhile and deserves a loving 4EVER home to call her own.  She would do best in a single dog home with children over 12 years of age.  Want a cuddle buddy?  Envy is your girl.  (photos by Geoff Tischman)
