HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The MTA said that normal Harlem Line and New Haven Line Metro-North service has resumed through the Bronx after NYSDOT crews made emergency roadway repairs above the tracks.

A New York Department of Transportation maintenance crew was working overnight on a bridge above the tracks when a girder buckled causing partial suspensions on New Haven and Harlem Lines. Service to Yankee Stadium on the New Haven and Harlem Lines was canceled to Saturday's game.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Metro-North Railroad said split service on the New Haven and Harlem lines was required due to the emergency New York State Department of Transportation repairs to a Bronx River Parkway overpass above the tracks, which impacted the safety of train traffic through the area.
