JCC of Mid-Westchester Board Expands To Include A Familiar Face
The board's newest member has a background in financial services and has previously served as president of the Scarsdale Board of Education.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The largest community center serving the southern Hudson Valley will have some new blood in its leadership after expanding its board of directors.
The Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Mid-Westchester announced that the newly created seat will be filled by Leila Shames Maude. The organization introduced Maude this week, but she is already well-known by many in the community.
Maude previously served on the Scarsdale Board of Education and held the role of president from 2015 to 2017. She was also elected VP of the Fox Meadow Elementary School PTA. Maude chaired and co-chaired benefits, art shows and events presented by the PTA. She has also served as Executive Board Member and Treasurer for the Fox Meadow Neighborhood Association and has chaired committees at the Westchester Reform Temple. Maude also leads local English language conversation classes and served as troop leader for the Scarsdale Junior Girl Scouts.

The JCC provides so many important services to our community that benefit so many. It is an honor to serve on this board.”
