Look Whose Paintings Will Be At the Street Fair Tomorrow!

During my "back fence" chat this morning with my neighbor Dorothy Cherbavaz, I discovered she will be showing, and selling, her wonderful paintings tomorrow, Sunday the 8th, at New Rochelle's 325th Anniversary Street Fair. Much of Dorothy's work is inspired by her own orchids. (You might have seen her extensive collection if you're ever been on the New Rochelle garden tour.) She is always a wealth of information on the best ways to tend orchids, and I love to visit her when the wild and crazy flowers of all shapes and colors are in their full and showy peaks of bloom. That is also when they become models for Dorothy's paintings on silk, which she then turns into unique works of art for pillows, ties, and just about anything else that inpires her!

By the way, she also crafts designer jewelry, and I can't forget to say that her husband Moreno, is also an art photographer whose prints of their many travels in Europe (and of orchids of course) are also part of their wonderful "oeuvre" and will also be on display tomorrow.
