<p>Following last week's <a href="https://patch.com/new-york/newrochelle/60-graduate-westchester-county-police-academy">graduation ceremony</a> from the county academy, the New Rochelle Police Department has welcomed 11 new officers.</p><p>Two members of the graduating class, Officer Joseph Nieves and and Officer Jeffrey Marello, were recognized with honors from the academy. Brahms is said to have thrown over 20 string quartets into the fireplace before settling on this “No. 1,” and Prokofiev composed his “2nd” while an evacuee from Moscow as Nazi air raids bombarded the city.</em></p>
