A photograph of the officer was sent to the television station.

A New Rochelle police officer was photographed using his cell phone while directing traffic.
CBSNewYork said a photo taken Monday was sent to a reporter that showed the officer looking at his phone and not at the traffic he was there to direct.
The traffic light at the intersection of Webster and Washington avenues was out and the officer was stationed there.
