Two members of the New Rochelle Police Department took part in a promotion ceremony Friday.
Detective Richard Gargan was promoted to the rank of sergeant and Officer Francesco Provenzale was promoted to the rank of detective, according to a post on the City of New Rochelle NY Facebook page.
Mayor Noam Bramson and other city officials were on hand at the ceremony as well.
