2 Injured After Two Car Crash In Mattituck: Authorities
BREAKING: Mattituck Fire Department responded to the scene Sunday evening.
MATTITUCK, NY — At least two people were injured after a two-car crash that took place Sunday night on Route 48 in Mattituck, according to first responders at the scene.
The crash took place on Route 48 and Wickham Avenue at approximately 8:22 p.m. between a Subaru and an SUV; one person was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center and the other, to Eastern Long Island Hospital, a first responder at the scene said.
The extent of the injuries was not immediately clear; police have not yet revealed if charges were filed in relation to the crash.
